CROWPATH Announce New Album Title

Swedish metalcore act CROWPATH have set "Son of Sulphur" as the title of their sophomore album, tentatively due in early 2006 via Willowtip/Earache. The band will enter Berno Studios (THE HAUNTED, DEFLESHED, GOD DETHRONED, AMON AMARTH, KAAMOS) in Malmö, Sweden on August 12 with engineer Andy Andersson to begin recording the follow-up to 2004's "Red on Chrome". "Son of Sulphur" will contain 12 tracks "with everything from raging metal to doom,"the band write on their web site. "It's just more of everything." Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Pigeonsmasher" and "The Will to Burn".

"Red on Chrome" — originally released via the Pittsburgh, Pa.-based metal label Willowtip Records and recently reissued through the unholy alliance of Earache Records and Willowtip — was recorded by Fredrik Reinedahl (IN FLAMES, BURST) at Phlat Planet Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden.
